CYLINDER TUBES

Our cylinder tubes are inside honed or skived/roller burnished, or cold drawn to a certain very narrow tolerance (H8/H9). You can use them for hydraulic purposes. Our cylinder tubes are available in various designs. From seamless hot rolled till seamless or welded cold drawn and stainless cold drawn. Our products are extremely relevant for the shipping industry, industry and offshore.

Norm and grades cylinder tubes

Our cylinder tubes are made of very high quality steel, which have a long life. Our cylinder tubes meet the following norm and grades:

• Cold drawn EN 10305-1 and/or -2 E355+SR honed or skived and rolled burnished H8/H9/H10;
• EN 10297 E355(K2N) / EN 10210 S355J2H / EN 10216-3 P355N (often triple certified);
• Stainless steel 304 / 316L / 316Ti honed or skived and rolled burnished H8/H9/H10/H11;
• Welded cold drawn (D.O.M.) EN 10305-2 E355+C tolerance H9;

Possibilities

Our hot rolled hydraulic cylinder tubes can be bored and honed to any requested inside diameter. Of course depending on available stock (as well as availability raw material). All tubes are normalized and including impact test at MINUS temperatures (-20 or -40), so they are ready to use at cold temperatures. Normalized tubes are also suitable for upgrading, for example Lloyd’s Register, GL-DNV, Bureau Veritas, ABS as we only buy from approved manufacturers.

Certificate

Our cylinder tubes are supplied with a 3.1 certificate. This means that the cylinder tubes will be delivered according to the official rules and technical rules. The certificate includes the material quality, material standards, charge- and testnumbers, mechanical properties and chemical composition. Because of this, you will know what to expect.
